The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 10 reveals Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will get bad news from the clinic.
Also coming up, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will offer Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) an alternative. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be ambushed by Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). And Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) gut instinct about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will implore her to head to Vegas.
Y&R spoilers tease Malcolm will explain to Lily what Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) told him about his son. Then he’ll ask what she thinks of Holden. “Do you like him? Is he a good man?” Lily will say they butted heads a few times, but nothing major. She’ll add she’s impressed by Holden agreeing to be his donor.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chelsea Has A Gut Feeling Adam is In Danger
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Stephanie will introduce themselves. Holden will walk in and Stephanie will tell him they can talk on the patio. Then Chelsea will stride inside. She’ll tell Sharon she’s worried about what’s going on in Vegas.
Sharon will do her best to calm Chelsea down, by reminding her Nick is there to help Adam. But Chelsea will tell her she had a nightmare about Spider and feels it in her gut. “Adam’s in danger.” Chelsea will call Adam and she’ll get no answer and Sharon will call Nick with the same result. So she’ll decide to go to Vegas. But will Sharon join her?
On the patio, Stephanie will tell her son he has every right to be upset with her. “But I want you to know what you did today is a wonderful thing, you can save his life.” She’ll call Malcolm and say she’s at Crimson Lights. “Holden wants to see you, Lily too, if that’s all right.”
A little later, Malcolm and Lily will show up. Holden will say hi to his new sister. “I assume you heard the news,” he’ll add. She’ll say it’s pretty shocking and ask how he’s feeling. Holden will tell her he feels the same way. Then he’ll get a text from the clinic. “This is it, the results are in,” he’ll tell them.
Holden will look at the results and say he’s sorry, he’s not a match. But Lily will say there’s still hope. Mattie or Charlie could be a match. So she’ll call Devon Winters (Bryton James) and commandeer the Winters’ jet for Malcolm to fly to LA and meet with her kids.
In Vegas, Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) will show up at Adam and Nick’s suite. She’ll hand Spider his cut from the poker game. But he’ll hand it back. Riza will say she thought he needed money. Adam will say he’ll let it ride for now. It can be a show of appreciation because she trusts him again. He’ll ask if her partner knows and she’ll say he was impressed.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Matt Pulls A Black Bag Over Nick’s Head
Adam will ask when he can meet him. “How’s today?” Riza will reply. Nick will slightly open the door to his room and watch as Riza puts her arms around Adam. “Assuming everything goes well, maybe we can celebrate later tonight,” she’ll say, planting a kiss on him.
After Riza leaves, Nick will ask his brother how far he’s willing to go with her. “What if you end up in bed?” Adam will say that’s not going to happen. “I’m glad you have my back but you need to stop worrying.” Then Adam will get a call from Riza, who’s in her suite with Matt. She’ll say he wants to meet him. Adam will tell her he’ll be there in an hour.
After he hangs up, Nick will ask what he’s going to do if it’s Matt. Adam will tell his brother he’ll signal him immediately. And his instincts are telling him Matt’s going to open that door. Nick will head into the washroom and snort more of whatever’s in the baggie.
He’ll walk out and tell Adam he’s going. “Matt will never expect that it’s me coming.” Adam will say they need to go with their original plan but Nick will refuse. He’ll tell his brother he’s done enough for him and he’s the one who needs to face Matt.
Meanwhile, Matt will be suspicious and ask Riza if something’s going on between her and Spider. She’ll say she never took him for the jealous type and she’ll kiss him. Matt will say she needs to leave, he wants to meet Spider one on one.
Finally, Nick will arrive at Riza’s suite and call Adam, who will tell him to keep his phone on. He’ll put the phone in his pocket and notice the door is ajar. Nick will ask if anyone’s there and he’ll hear a noise behind him. As he turns around, Matt will put a black bag over his head.
